16-7 Advanced Steam Engine Mock-Up 2

Mock up 2

The photograph above is of a full scale mock-up which illustrates one design approach to a small, advanced three-stage, reheat, condensing steam engine design (Advanced Rankine cycle engine).  The mock-up contains the essential elements necessary for such an engine.  This mock-up was exhibited at The 2nd Annual Steam Meet and Technical Conference of the Steam Automobile Club of America (SACA) and the International Association for the Advancement of Steam Power (IAASP), March 1st - 3rd, 2013 in Sacramento, California.  This mock-up is similar to the elements of Project 2013, Steam Jeep --- Green Car.
